New numbers

• A number can be assigned to one agent or to an inbound flow that routes between agents or teams.
• Supported numbers can handle voice and SMS by default.
• Outbound caller ID is configurable based on available numbers and compliance rules.

Porting

• Porting usually requires business verification and carrier documents.
• The original phone service should remain active until porting is complete.
• Most verified porting requests complete in 5 to 15 business days.
